From Koh Tao there are really good opportunities to dive and you can get a diving certificate on the island.

Like Koh Samui and Koh Phangnan you can get here via Chumphon and Surathani. The easiest is like from Koh Samui, to catch the bus from Bangkok or Hua Hin directly to the island. It takes about five hours from Hua Hin and 8-9 hours from Bangkok. The only thing left to say: Enjoy Koh Tao and have a good time!
